Smile

I have been raised in a traditional Catholic home: Church on Sundays, prayer before meals, and Catholic morals being instilled upon me.

Despite this, I must say that I fail to consider myself a hardcore believer. I find it next to impossible to pray to am almighty diety, even if it is loving. I have nothing personal against the God, but harbor animosity against his followers. The way they preach about equality and loving thy neighbor like thyself, yet insist that homosexuality is a choice and is a ticket to hell, does not appeal to me. I've been well informed on Catholisism, and come to agree certain aspects of it, while totally being polar with other aspects. I admire those that can take their religion very seriously, however, because it really can be a positive outlet for issues.I would say that I'm "faithful," but not religious. It provides me with a sense of structure. It's comforting for me to believe that one day I'll see the people that have died in some way, shape, or form.
