Under Teh Belleh : Ouch!
While I am, like many others pro-under the belly when it come adjusting your belt. I have found that as I have got fatter and developed an overhang (albeit a small one!), my belt has started to dig into my skin. And it really hurts!
Any solutions to that?! I don't want to resort to the over the belly look! |

Better fitting pants, softer waistline pants, softer belt. I have the same problem with work clothes that I have to wear a tight belt with.

You could try switching to a fabric belt (for casual wear) and try putting the buckle to your side so that it doesn't get uncomfortable under your new chubby overhang.

I pull the button area on the pants a little higher so that when I sit, the fabric kind of makes a cocoon around the buckle and it doesn't hurt.

![]() This is a problem, I agree.
Due to recent gaining, I have just made the change from under to over the belly. However I have just bought some fantastic stretch belts from the USA on Ebay. These are so comfortable, whether worn high or low, so to speak. They come in very large sizes too and have leather-covered buckles so they don't dig in. What with these belts and larger jeans to go over the belly, it has made a huge difference to my eating and drinking capacity and gaining has speeded up. I agree the look is not as good but the comfort makes up for it! |

An undershirt helps cushion your overhang also.

maybe wear a vest underneath your shirt so the belt doesn't cut into your skin

I pull my pants over the belt so that the metal doesn't dig into my skin.
