Technically, I started gaining in elementary school (3rd or 4th grade). It wasn't intentional at the time. I didn't start gaining intentionally until I was in the 8th or 9th grade.

FatRob 2nd June 2009 09:58 PM

I started around 11 yrs ago at 189 lbs, have been as high as 285, would like to surpass that.

I've loved big guys since a very early age and always fantasized about gaining but never tried it.
Growing up I was always super skinny and stayed at about 6'4" and 180 for a number of years.
A few years ago as my post 30 y.o. metabolism started to slow I put on a few pounds and got so many positive compliments that I started to figure I was more attractive as a larger guy. At that point I was about 195#.

About 15 months ago I quit smoking and my appetite just exploded. Staying up late at night studying and eating really put on the pounds. I haven't really intentionally tried to gain weight but in that time I've gone from 195 to 257. From 34" waist to 42".

I'd like to get bigger, but I'm just taking it as it comes.... besides clothes can be expensive. I want to wear them for awhile before I grow out of them!

I started about 2 years ago, haven't made much progress yet though!

I always was into big guts and loved the feeling of being fat.
I remeber gaining unintentionaly when I was in grade 6. I went from 130 in the start of 6 grade to 180 in 7th grade. By my freshman year I was about 200, but since than I've slimmed down to 165. But, I occasionaly gain off and on for fun. I don't want to be huge, but I love the feeling of my body changing.

gettingagut 4th October 2009 04:45 PM

8th grade, good times, good times.

gainerguy90 5th October 2009 09:13 AM

Well I was always a bigger kid......but i guess I really started gaining about 2 years ago when I was about 205, but stopped after a while due to family pressure. I just started up again about 4 months ago when I moved away, starting at 230.......and now I'm up to about 255, and looking to gain more. I love it and love having the big belly to play with ;)

Jay112 10th October 2009 10:12 AM

For me I started gaining a few months ago, I've tried before off and on but only recently got serious about it.

jblock3 10th October 2009 02:41 PM

I personally have always wanted to gain weight and be fat, ever since i saw the nutty professor when i was 5 or 6. Eddy murphy in a fat suit was my first inspiration haha :)

JMB2003 11th October 2009 11:59 PM

I started in my last year of high school, then kept the gains as steady as I could manage for a few years. I went from 170 in my last year of high school to 220 right now over 5 years.

There was a lot of backtracking for me though. Didn't have much money in college, so I cut down on food when things were getting tight financially, so I'd lose a few. Then gain them back with a pound or two extra. Eventually I ended up at 220 and stuck.

I've enjoyed the slow growth, but I think I want to gain faster now, once I figure out how.

JamesReady 12th October 2009 07:11 AM

Gained 10 lbs last winter and now just kept going with it it gained 25lbs in total at 202

nico38 13th October 2009 04:26 PM

To me, I started to gain since always : from childhood to now. So, I used to be like that ^^

manager_07_richy 19th October 2009 03:13 AM

Situation: My big bro (6'7, 260 pounds, 27 y.o.) started having me over on weekends to hang out/play video games/watch movies (just basically whatever) about 4 years ago. From Friday night to Sunday night our food intake was primarily pizza, hot pockets, McDonald's, and an occasional beer or two.

Then: 5'9, 170 pounds, 16 y.o.
Now: 6'0, 220 pounds, 20 y.o.

gertlush 20th October 2009 12:45 PM

I have always been big, but realised I wanted to start gaining 2 years ago! I have since then gained 70lbs

luke88w 10th January 2010 08:33 PM

Unintentionally: In college, around 2005.

Intentionally: Jan. 2010

Foodlover 11th January 2010 12:20 PM

I started in my high school years, that did gave me some complications (people who were laughing, making fun of me etc), but I just turned that into a positive thing! Now I'm in my last year of high school, so I've been busy for about 2 years or so.

forwardfurry 15th January 2010 08:03 AM

I'm a junior in college, and I just started last August at 170. Now, in January, I weigh 190, and more's certainly to come.

I haven't started intentionally gaining, but I have been following my weight since i was 13. At 13 I was 50kg (110lbs) and then as I grew in height my weight went up also to 63kg (139lbs) by 14, 73kg (161lbs) by 15, then peaked at 76kg (168lbs) at 15.5 (probably about the time my growth spurt finished, then droped down to 74kg (163lbs) and kept fairly steady and reached my highest ever weight of 77/78kg (170/172lbs) at 17, but since then, for some unbeknown reason have been in steady decline and now only 67kg (148lbs) at 19y 4m. I've been about 178cm since about 15.5 and at 17years and 78kg had a BMI of 24.6 but now at 19, I've only got a BMI of 21.1. I'd really like to get back up to 75-80kg (165lbs-176lbs) and have my BMI around 24-25. Its strange even though I've lost 10kg (22lbs) in the last 2 years, I don't feel any different, so I'd much rather be 10kgs heavier than I am now (ideally like to gain a mix of both muscle and fat) and my goal is to be back to 77kg by the end of the year. I still cant believe I only weight 5 years ago when I was only 14. Truth be told I much prefer being heavier, I don't like having to tell people I only weight 67kg, makes me feel like a scrawny runt.

wannabe265lbs 23rd January 2010 11:50 AM

Well, I started gaining in November 2009, and I've already gained a good 5 kilos in two months' time. I' looking forward to gaining rapidly and to putting on at least 20 kilos by the end of the year. lol
I already have a starting little pot belly. I can hardly wait to develop a huge ball gut. I'm gonna join a gym in order to put on some muscle on my upper body. I'd like to have thick arms and thighs soooo much!

fatnhappy22 5th February 2010 03:07 AM

College was wonderful to me...I started college at 155 lbs. I ballooned up to 205 at graduation! It was all the food, and mostly the ability to sit around.

gekjh 7th February 2010 07:45 PM

I started around January 10, 2010

daver58 13th June 2010 04:25 AM

I liked fatness since I was about 5, wanted to weigh 600 pounds at 11 and couldn't gain an ounce. I was 130 and 5'7" when l decided to try hard to gain. I went up and down, gained and lost until I hit a high of 229. It was EXTREMELY hard and took way too long and I was not able to maintain the gain. Even at 229 I didn't feel fat at all. Barely chubby! I am now 180 and don't look fat at all. Who said it was easy to get fat???? :-)

bellyrock 17th June 2010 09:18 PM

This is a second account for me I'm ashamed to say but I've been gaining off and on since 2006 and have comfortably added 30lbs to my frame.

cptf 18th June 2010 01:30 AM

I guess I started officially a few months ago, maybe around March, and I've put on about 20 lbs (from 190 to 210). But I've always been chubby and I've wanted to get bigger for years :P

daver58 18th June 2010 04:23 AM

I wanted to be fat from 11 onwards but didn't try to gain until 22. My weight was up and down like a toilet bowl but I was never able to maintain the gain! NAsty NASTY metabolism!! :-)

harps 18th June 2010 02:03 PM

I started a couple of years ago but only really started to gain weight this past year or so.
