Currently I'm reading about A man named Richard who is fighting the tyranny that was long sealed by the force field of magic that he himself took down without knowing the consequences. And just now he was shot by multiple arrows while fighting a scouting team and he was saved by A women/sorceress. When he awoke from the coma her recovery magic put him in He realized why he had gotten up to search the forest. He was in search of his wife the mother confessor, Kahlan. But all who he asked about her where abouts acted as if she never existed.

This book is actually the ninth of a very long story line.
While I read I love to pack in the food.
So it works very well.

I had to vote 'No' on this - I find that a great of time can be saved by watching the DVD version of the story. :)

Waiting for the DVD assumes they're going to make some sort of video version (movie, TV show, game, whatever). And even if there's a DVD, that's no guarantee of anything. I can hardly put down just about any one of Steven King's books, but I don't think I've ever seen a decent version of any of his stories in the movies or on television - at least not one that was worth sitting all the way through.

I agree that reading is not about saving time, but I always find time to do it.

I still find watching movies better (especially DVD ones or at the Cinema)
Because then i got visual stuff of what happens, and i dont have to immagine whats happening (my immagination suck!).

I too am an advid reader, since I was a kid. Stephen King rules! I read several of his novels straight through, even calling off work because I couldn't put it down! LOL! Horror, mysteries and fantasies are my favorite genres.

Yeah, I'm a book reader too. Pretty hooked on John Grisham. I usually start to read after I've had a good feed and end up falling asleep, so it can take a while to get a book finished. Jeffrey Archer is another excellent author. I always find that the movies are never quite as good as the books and either miss out large parts of the story, or change them to suit the screen. Apart from that it's just newspapers reading.
