Ja, I was playing a clarinet when it happened too, just to add to the absurdity. I couldn't help laughing. I guess this is something I need to get used to though eh? :p

Congratulations =P

I just broke a wheel off of my office chair yesterday. It's great to be heavy.

The first time is the biggest shock. At least it didn't happen while you were working. The first night you were working. And then had to find out where to throw away your very nice chair that you just bought.... the memories.

I own the sturdy, (antique) well-built furniture, but I can just imagine any big guy sitting on some of that cheap lawn furniture. It would soon wabble... and break.

This happened to me last week. Unfortunately it was my favorite chair so I'm trying to fix it now.

I wish that would happen to me, but it will when I move into my own place.:D

I remember way back when in I think the 7th grade, an above average sized kid (more muscle than fat) broke desks on two seperate ocassions. But these desks were old, so they wouls all probably break eventually.
Like obeseboy4life said, I'll be breaking chairs once I move out into my own place. Haha.

haha (oh snap)

Now that I think of it, I did break a leg on a sofa before, but I plopped into it after a running start.

Thats funny. A buddy of mine did that in a restaurant when we were eating and he was so embarrassed. He is quite big, but I was secretly a little jealous

Luckily I haven't broken a chair in a while, then again I'm very careful to not move or rock around too much.

I broke a chair in my English class, and unfortunately the teacher thought I was being "unruly."

The nerve of some people...:p

Chairs are jerks like that. At a friend's loft, there was this flimsy wooden chair I sat on while chopping up stuff to cook for dinner. Of course the chair exploded like the Death Star, I shared a laugh with my friends while I secretly appreciate the irony, and went back to work making 'sketti.

Don't trust those chairs, man. Unless they're those hover chairs from Wall-E, those things looked legit.
