What attracts you?

I was almost positive there was a thread like this one, but I searched and got nothing, so eh.

My question being, What do you find attractive in a guy or a girl? Of course, I'll wager we all like guts to some degree, so I'll leave that out of my preferences at least. :p

To begin, I love natural blonds. No idea why, but I find most of them outrageously attractive as far as physical appearances go.

A fit body can be attractive as well, if it's proportioned nicely. I've never been a fan of the overly beefy/ brick wall types; swimmer's or runner's builds have always appealed to me more.

Sensitivity is always nice, so long as a guy has some. Egotism/Superiority = </3.

And lastly, a quirk I have: I have a tendency to like boys that are shorter than me or around my height. Go figure.

So what about all of you? Any physical traits, mental characteristics, quirks, charms, or general defects that just drive you guys wild?

First, I start every other human contact on the same level. Next, I notice SOCIAL traits. I take it from there. I'm quiet at first. As others make themselves known I make my move. I really don't seem to care about physical qualities. I see that other people, however, sometimes see me with my gut as a "trademark" about me. They sometimes have assumptions about ME because of my gut. Life is a give and take experience.

Oh, don't get me wrong. Personality definitely trumps looks, when it's coming to choosing a significant other at least. And true, some people do let physical characteristics determine too much of what they feel about a person.

As for social traits, however, I've always been a believer of the "opposites attract" theory, to an extent, at least.

Well on a whole i enjoy guys who fall under the more "middle of the road/feminine" area when it comes to mannerisms and etc. Always have, and I think it jst has something to do with my personal believe in opposites attracting.

As far as the physical traits, being the man of extremes that I am, i tend to either go for fat boys (especially those wanting to grow fatter) or the adorable slim guys who enjoy being with a bigger guy like myself. Of course my personal stances as far as being an encourager or a gainer follow that.

As for all the little things that makes someone beautiful to me, well there are far to varied and many to bother listing out here.

i have a large range of guys that i'm attracted to. I do like fat guys, but it really depends on how thier built. I like fit guys too. Hot bodies really get me off. I tend to like guys who are a bit hairy, and nice sexy curls. Nice chests have always been something that grabs me, but when it comes to personality, i like guys who have more experience. Someone i can talk to, and have an intelligent conversation with. (kind of a snobbish requirement for me, but if the guy can't talk about movies with me, the relationship doesn't have much chance)

Physically, I kind of have a thing for redheads or blondes. If a guy has darker hair, I always find myself attracted to them if it's coupled with light colored eyes. I tend to go for guys who are smaller/slim/athletic, or even just average. But I've never let those criteria limit me from establishing contact with anyone, and some of those times when I wasn't initially attracted to someone resulted in the best relationships as time went on :)

I read a lot, and I write quite a bit as well. A guy who also reads and doesn't mind the occasional solitude I need to get the thoughts in my head out onto paper before they fall out of my brain is great as well. I'm also a big music lover.

I also promise I'm not quite this picky in real life. lol.

Let's see, I really only offered sensitivity in my first post, allow me to expound on other personality traits I find attractive.

Chilvalry is apparently dead, but I love it when a guy knows how to treat his significant other with class and charisma, if the situation calls for it.

Also, earthiness. My perception of myself, while I admit self perceptions aren't always spot on, is of a random, awkward girl who really spends too much time wandering around in her own head. Guys at the opposite end of the spectrum -simplistic, carefree, fun loving - really appeal to me. =)

Personality...well, they can't be snobby or close-minded. They've got to be able to hold an intelligent conversation at least to some degree.

It's kinda hard to describe, but I like guys of medium to heavy build, whether "heavy" means totally ripped or fat... I don't care much ;)
I find light skin and black hair suuper attractive, and love it when they show their body hair--belly, chest, legs, face.... It's so hot!

Personality-wise, I prefer shy, soft spoken guys. I think it's because I like the feeling of earning my significant other's trust, and change them from being shy to being vibrant around me. It helps me bond on a deep level when I can do that.

This may sound stupid, but I don't seem to find sexual what everybody else does. When I look at a guy, What actually turns me on is how he looks in his clothes. Does he fill out a pair of jeans nicely? Are his shirts well-fitting? I like the mystery that clothes can provide, but also what they reveal. I think it has to do with the idea that a guy who dresses like that isn't ashamed of his body.

I guess in terms of body type, i like a good butt, the gut can be saggy, but i prefer slightly more solid, as long as there are love handles. The chest shouldn't be too droopy. Good shoulders, good arms, around my height...

The hair color doesn't matter to me. The smile has to be great, though, which includes the eyes. A smile can override almost anything else. In fact, considering my last boyfriend, it did, lol.

This all sounds really, snobbish, but it's just thing's I've noticed. I'm one of those people who can sit in one place and just watch people go by and notice things. That probably sounds creepy, so I'll end this message here.

Personality always determines chemistry for me but physically speaking my range of attraction spans from chubby as me, to muscled, to slender. Tall, short and in between. Maybe the one common denominator is a nice round butt. Baby's gotta have back. :) Gotta have something to grab onto.

Beer bellies on guys are the only thing I like about men. Other than that I'm not attracted to men at all.

Girls on the other hand, I do not mind if they aren't skinny but I am not attracted to fat girls. Any color hair, but preferably brown. No more than a head shorter/taller than me. I like girls who aren't overly flirtatious. Whenever girls have been like that with me it's always been a turn off. I guess I'm more attracted to someone that I have to work a bit harder for their attention.

I have a wide taste in men also. A few things I notice and prefer but are not deal breakers:
Facial hair. But not the wild man kind or the long scraggly beards.
Body hair. LOVE IT but have met some very hot very sexy somewhat hairy to smooth guys that are into me.
Also, I find that as I have gotten bigger, look at guys smaller than me more. It is that I want to cuddle and hold them thing. Any guy MUST be a good kisser. Like to make out and be very touch and feel kind of guy. I am very grope-able LOL :D
What I am not into is A listers' Damm I hate that. I can be pretty aggressive at work BUT I am not in to status climbing. So major turn off

i don't really care about looks, if you knew my track record of men than you'd understand that, but what REALLY gets me is if theyre funny and can make me laugh, if you can do that i'm yours.
i suppose ideally i'd like a boy with a nice amount of meat on them, something to cuddle up to.. cant be doing with skinny boys. and hair aswell. i don't really like shaved heads at all. but medium length hair and longer is great.

Hmmmm....in regards to physical appearance, I like guys who are bigger (either fat or some muscle), and blonde or brunette. With women, however, I like them thin (but not too thin). A pair of nice legs always helps. Oh, and I love brown eyes on a man or woman.
