I just felt like I should post something... I've been really busy, and lots of you probably don't even know who I even am. I've had lots of school work to do this semester, and I just got a few jobs as a musician, the most recent being an Organists' position at the SCC of Cambridge. I'm not an organist, I'm a pianist, and the organ is a pump organ, so it should be interesting to see how this plays out :P

I just got a new Macbook and brought it with me when I practiced, so I figured I'd just film myself messing around with a song I was playing by ear - trying to remember what its name...

Haha... anyone to guess this one from the clip gets my utmost respect.

BTW...if anyone's wondering why I look like I'm dancing to the beat... I'm not, haha. It's a pump organ - so you have to pump to the beat or you get air burst sounds in between beats which sounds really bad. >_<

yea...Leopard is pretty buggy, but so much less than Vista. It'll be fine after a few updates though, I bet.

haha vista? whats that? Microsoft is already like turning away from it, and talking about Windows 7. I think that's what they are calling their newer one.

Macs just work with everything! :p Also, OS X runs on UNIX and Windows runs on DOS. UNIX is almost completely stable...even most PC users who don't like Mac's OS will still admit that. PC's are also created by different companies for the Windows OS, and all but the modbook (tablet mac) are made by Apple Inc., and apple spends about 20% of their budget on design in aesthetics and durability.

Windows ME was the last DOS-based version of consumer Windows. Current Windows (XP and Vista) are descendants of Windows NT (which is not DOS-based). There is a DOS window that you can open in the current version but it is an emulator - there is no DOS running anywhere.

My current preference is OS X. It boots/shuts-down much faster. There are some issues but overall it appears to be more stable than Windows.

SOrry, that's right. What I meant to say was that Windows has the registry as it's core. Which is less stable.

A budget that comes from the ~50% profit they make on each sale?

Yup!

(They're a business. The intention of a business is to make a profit. What's wrong with that?)

you'd be surprised at how high most companies mark up their products, but hey they gotta make money somehow. it doesn't bother me how much profit companies make so much as it bothers me how much oil companies make to be honest

The first one that has the melody starting off the song - I don't actually know, honestly. It was something I picked to play at the church based on a song I heard on one of my mom's CD's of Christmas music from another church, or something. I was honestly wondering if anyone knew what it was called.

The other one where the bass notes start off the song is from Swan Lake.
