This is my first proper story that I've decided to show people, this is only the first chapter, if people like it I'll write more - trouble is I haven't thought of an ending so it could turn into a never ending story :S. Tell me what your think!
Chapter 1: Hows my Genes?
"C'mon David you can't be full now! We've still got another bag of donuts to go"
"I'm gonna burst if I eat anything else"
David was sitting in his friends house, unbelievably stuffed. 2 of his friends were sitting in awe in front of him, having just witnessed him consume enough food to feed a year 7 for a week. James put his hand on Davids belly - it was rock solid, and was so large it was making his shirt bulge.
"David you've already eaten 5 bags of donuts, is another 6 donuts gonna make a difference?"
"Yeah, I've gotta walk home and I'm struggling to move already."
"Alright then, I didn't think that belly of your was bottomless." They chuckled.
"I better get going," he picked up his bag and walked over to the door, "man, my belly is so heavy."
"I'll see you tomorrow at school" Rob called.
David was 16, 5' 11" and loved to eat and eat and eat. He wasn't huge, but he did have a flabby midsection - the result of stuffing large amounts of food down his gut. He had always loved eating, but it was only last year when he had actually taken to eating huge amounts of food. Back then he was about 145lbs, now after just under a year of regular gorging he had grown to around 170 - 180lbs. David didn't actually mind being fat - he actually quite liked it.
David turned right and followed Cliff road. That wasn't actually its name – but it was known as this because of that fact the road was built on top of a cliff – with no barrier on the side of the road. David checked his watch - 5:30pm, it was getting dark. He set off round the road and looked out over the cliff, seeing the town partially lit as the sun sank lower and lower behind the mountain far in the distance. The only thing David could hear was the wind rustling through the trees.
Suddenly, a car darted out of nowhere. David – lost in his thoughts – jumped and moved to the side, he stumbled and lost his footing, and fell over the edge of the cliff. He fell for what felt like an eternity before, SPLASH! He his head surfaced a few seconds later and he swam to the edge of the river. He dragged himself out spluttering and spitting out the water. He sat on the bank of the river, and breathed deeply. He looked up to see if there was a way back up – but there was no path up the cliff face, he would have to walk round and try to find a way up. David lent down to pick up his bag, took a step forward, then realized his bag hadn't moved. He looked round, and almost fainted at the sight he saw. His hand was holding onto his bag – just as he had intended – however, David's arm was three and a half feet long. He stepped back towards his bag and his arm shortened. He grabbed his elbow with his other hand and pulled, to his astonishment he found that his arm stretched like an elastic band. He let go and his arm snapped back to its original shape. 'Have I become... rubber?' he thought, as tested various parts of his body. He looked up stream and saw why; lying at the river's edge was an old chemical waste container – it was leaking. David was devastated; he'd become a freak of nature! He would no longer be able to live his life normally, but then he realized... his abnormality wasn't visible all the time. Then a real idea struck him; he lifted up his shirt, grasped his stomach and pulled outwards, David smiled as his belly stretched with ease. 'This may just be the best thing thats ever happened to me' he thought as he picked his bag up and walked home.
David spent that evening testing his new found ability; he found he was able to stretch himself under his own will, meaning that he could expand his cheeks and throat to swallow an entire gallon whole, then – quite disgustingly – he found he could regurgitate the same liquid without any pain. After a little more experimenting he found he was less like rubber – which had a limit – and more like a liquid with memory – he could hold onto a door handle at one end of his house and walk all the way to the back of his garden without letting go. David had fun testing his gift; now he could stuff his face to his hearts content and always have room for more. But then a thought struck him: where was he going to find enough food to fill his belly? He hadn't really needed to worry about it before; his limited stomach capacity had stopped him, but now he would need far larger amounts of food...
'Steal it' said a voice in his head.
'What?' he thought, 'No I'm not that kind of person, or at least I wasn't...'
'Come on, you have powers now, no one can stop you.'
'Yeah, you're right, I could take all the food I need from anywhere! I can do anything! ANYTHING!'
