I was always into sports growing up, name a sport - I played it at some point. Last year of high school I was named team MVP for hockey and baseball. (not to boast or anything!) I went away to Uni and didn't play any sports..decided to 'focus on my studies'. In other words I was in residence with a full meal plan and no scheduled physical activity.

It began in September...in rez there are alot of floor parties and alot of beer...I'm also one of those people that tends to get really hungry when drunk by the end of september I had put on about 15lbs. The freshman 15 in one month. I didn't think on this at the time but I did like the extra softness my belly had developed. Midterms and studying craze broke out and due to stress I 'comfort ate' I found food helped me studying and would take to eating large amount of candy and other junk while I was studying. I couldn't focus if I wasn't nibbling at something. It didn't help that the building next door was the cafeteria with a pizza and burger place 24/7.

I started noticing that my clothes were really tight and a mound of fat had seemingly appeared where my flat stomach had been. Funny how you don't really notice your getting a belly until it happens. I thought 'shit!' one morning when I honestly could not button my pants over my stomach. That was the first morning I pulled the 'lie on the bed and do them up while pulling stomach fat over the pants'. A friend of mine jokingly said later that week 'Hey bobby why don't we hit the gym your looking fat lately!' someone else noticing my gain really turned me on for some reason and I didn't understand why. After some internet searching in the days that followed I noticed there were other people like me out there and I started to think about the idea of a bigger belly after seeing pictures of other peoples on the net.

Right before exams hit I ended up going to the gym with Greg. He was a pretty big guy, probably slightly bigger than me but definetly not as out of shape as I was as I noticed after our first lab around the track (I pretty much died after 3). In the locker room afterwards we decided to weigh ourselves, I couldn't believe it - I was 195lbs! ..up from 170 3 months earlier! After running around though and feeling my stomach jiggle/wobble with each step I actually wanted more of this fat - it felt great!

I went home for Christmas that year after pigging out the last month during exams with great marks and also a 200lb body! My parents were shocked of course but happy about my grades so all was great. That is when I truly decided that I wanted to be fat, not so fat that I was immobile but I wanted a large flabby belly!

During the following semester and summer I ate quite a bit I was up to 235lbs at one poiint but was also busy so the quick rate that I began gaining at slowed down, I got sick at one point and my weight has been up and down but I am always right back eating away and my belly is currently 235lbs of FAT! I've started playing some sports again - let's face it I'm Canadian and life just isn't the same without playing hockey, but I suppose I'll just have to eat more to make up lost calories!

That's my story - and wish me luck in reaching 250lbs by the start of this summer!

Nice personal history! The way your belly has been shaping up so far, I don't think you're going to have any trouble at all in reaching 250 by summer! After all, that's only 15 pounds away! :p Lotsa luck in your quest for an even larger and flabbier belly!

Nice explanation/story. :)
If I see more of these from other members we might consider renaming the Journal forum and making it a bit more known that people are free to tell their personal stories about their Gaining/FAness so far.
