Well me and seven of my friends went to Warped Tour today. Spent the whole day out in the sun, and got to listen to some great music, but didn't have a single thing to eat. So we got there at 1, and finally left at 8. So ya... I was pretty hungry. While driving around in Houston trying to find this one restaurant, we got lost, but quickly regained our direction and ended up that this chinese food restuarant. Two of the girls that went with us told us it was really good and I didn't care, as long as I got something to eat. lol. Well we went in and ordered several things off the menu. We ordered the General Tso, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Moo Goo Gia Pan, and some fried rice. Regular white rice came, but that was free. All of us were starving and dug in. When we got the bill we were definatly surprised at what we saw. The bill only added up to $24. That was enough food to satisfy eight people, one of which wieghs like 400 pounds, and I weigh about 250. So we ate alot, but we still had some to take home. It was amazing that we all had so much food for $24. And there was no decline in the quality of food. It tasted better than some higher priced places I know of. I am definatly marking that restuarant on my list of places to go when I am in Houston again.

Yeah i know. Most of those places are cheaper then you think.
We have a Chinese takeaway/restaurant closeby and when we order something there its really cheap and we got enough food to eat from for 2 days.

And somewhere else theres a Vietnamese restaurant were we sometimes go to.
We go there with about 10 people, and we order just normal things and then we still got leftovers to eat from with another 10 people.

So basicly, a lot of those are cheap.

My coworkers almost exclusively eat at 'Chinatown' precinct in our city for lunch - the food is generally top quality, and it's really cheap. A great feed for under $10AUD easily if you can leave the softdrink till you get back to office (82c 1.25L from supermarket on way :) )

Then again, sometimes I succumb to the temptation of Calpico/Calpis Soda :)

Ya, but Ryans is like $12 per person. This place only costs $24 for eight people. This place beats Ryan's.
