Yeah your right, gaining weight is getting fatter, and getting fatter means your BMI (Body Mass Index) will get higher too. There is no way to keep it low when you gain weight.

BMI is not the same for everyone, its different for a guy who is a lot taller then for the guy who is smaller
A tall person can handle a lot more weight, and so his "normal" weight will be much higher then the "normal" weight of a small person.

Yeah, I read that some bodybuilders that are really, really BIG and have huuge muscles can have a very high BMI that says they are obese :p
