i was wondering how big most people wanted to get on the gaining community. i personally dont want to be like 400 lbs
maybe 250 so i can get a nice sizeable gut.

im 14 and about 120 but its muscle and a tiny bit (like 1/2 and inch) of fat. im still really skinny

Start playing more video games instead of going outside and playing. Eat snacks before you go to bed, like peanut butter and anything with lot of calories. What I have learned from people on this site, you need to have a strong body to carry the extra weight, so like still work out your legs, and do some cardio to strengthen your heart and such. Start grabbing more portions at dinner. You are at a age where the gaining of weight is normal because you are growing up and going through puberty so like your parents really shouldn't care if you put on like 10-15 lbs over a couple months. But just remember, you still need to be somewhat active to keep a long and healthy life :D

Remember to eat healthy stuff too, just more of it. An all fast food diet might get the quickest results, but with the most medical complications.

Couldn't you add bigger portions of items like mash potatoes and more chicken and more meat and stuff like that instead of just lots of snack foods?

Don't go too overboard though. It's too early on in your life to go too much beyond say...300. Unless you are become a pro lol.

i agree, i would rather get fat slowly without getting sick or anything, and i dont want to be weak so i cant walk or run at all. thanks for the tips

Please.. Its important to know that though you'll get unfit, your ARE DEFINTELY NOT going to be able to not walk unless you are over 600 or 700lb, perhaps more. Hell, I can still run a little bit (damn trains/buses) at A bit over 330lb, but it will leave me puffed at the end, and I dont mind that.
you need to have a strong body to carry the extra weight, so like still work out your legs, and do some cardio to strengthen your heart and such. Though it does help, you do not need to do this unless you are planning to for for over 400 or 500lb.
Remember to eat healthy stuff too, just more of it. An all fast food diet might get the quickest results, but with the most medical complications. It doesn't need to be all healthy, but sizeable portions of carbs and fat, as well as just constant snacking. Its also a benefit if you stay away from the sugary drinks, as though it helps its probably going to be the more dangerous thing in the long run than eating a lot of fast food.

I for one would like to get to around 350 or so. While it's pretty unhealthy to be obese or even overweight, I figure that 350 wouldn't be completely deadly. Plus, I don't really want to lose my mobility.

I'm curious--What do you mean when you write "No longer gaining because I can lose weight now?" Is it that you finally reached a goal or that there was some obstacle to losing weight before?

Yes. I guess hormones played a part as I was still going through puberty, otherwise I have no idea. I've already lost 17lb too (Down from 315 to 298).

Spot On. Sounds a bit weird, but yeah.. I enjoyed the food, I enjoyed the extra fat, but the weight loss wins out by a nose.

Someday I plan to weigh between 250-300 pounds. Like if I get to 280-290, I am going ahead and going for 300 just to see what its like and to see the numbers on the scale. If I can carry 300 pounds without alot of complications, I will go up in about 10 pound incriments. I do know that I will not go over 400 pounds.

I'd be happy with about 300lbs (give or take several). I don't think I'd like to go above 400, although I can't conclusively say so, because I've never been that big before.

I'm at 300, so my goal currently is 350. I'll decide from there whether to keep going or not. I'm not about to impose a cap until I know what 350 feels like.

Can't come up with a number, because it just depends on how I feel when I get to a given weight. Maybe about 350 to 400, can't imagine wanting to go any higher than 500. Want to be pretty big but not to the point it significantly impairs mobility or puts my health at an extreme risk. What weight that is I don't know... think could comfortably get to at least 350 though. Been fighting for 300 for quite a while, then see where I can get to from there.

I voted "I'll stop when I feel comfortable" but then...I can see it getting up to 500 if not more in the extremely long run.

The way I see it when I get older I might aswell get huge as I can't really get that big as a teenager...well not in my eyes anyway, social pressures, relationships, fast metabolism :(

But yeah I'm just taking it as it comes!

I voted in this ages ago and...

201-250 lbs (91.17-113.4 kg) <-- I am currently in this category (and selected this before)
251-300 lbs (113.85-136.08 kg)

I am currently 220 lbs (100 kg) and I'm aiming for either up to 250 lbs or just over to 115 kg, perhaps a little higher to 260 lbs.. to be honest as long as I can remain fairly trim looking and healthy.. (after all I'm gaining a lot more muscle than fat) ;)
In fact, if I could gain ALL muscle I'd be happy at 300 lbs !!! :D (more than happy to carry my current BF level at 300 lbs which will clearly be a lot more fat and make me look a little bit chubby at that size, specially if that's the only weight I can be that big and muscley, hehehe.

At around 285 right now, I think I'm pretty close to my upper limit. I don't really want to be any bigger, and I'm actually thinking about dropping some weight (I know, I know, no weight loss talk on here ;)). Not that I necessarily want to lose the belly that I have, but I just don't feel very comfortable at my weight anymore... plus, I've got a girl that I like, and while she claims to like me as I am, I'd still like to be a little healthier.

I dont want to ge huge or anything, so 200-250 suits me fine. i would really just like to have a sizable gut but if i think it would look better bigger, i may keep gaining. Personally, I wouldn't like to top 300lbs.

Hmm, I dunno really...

My goal weight's probably around 300lbs, but I 'spose I'll have to see how it looks on me.
I might decide to gain another 25lbs or more when I get to my goal (of 300). I'm really not that certain :confused:
I'm not sure if I wanna get any bigger than 350lbs though (I'm still thinking about it :p). Even so, I voted for "I'll stop when I feel comfortable", 'cause I really don't know when I'm gonna stop gaining :D
