I sense a buncha tension from the regulars of this forum, can we calm down? It's getting like a liberal and a conservative in a discussion over strict and broad interpretation of the bible. Can we just hug?

There will always be some energy around people and their beliefs, but we do need to calm down about the posts. I always try to be kind in my posts, but I'll tred extra carefully during this strained time.

It's been worse before... at least I can remember a couple of times. Anyways, it's not really that bad. People just need to be more understanding and polite and kind in their posts.

Its to be expected I think after we got targeted by a site thats only purpose is to ridicule websites. Unfortunately hostility has to be encountered when there is a constant amount of crap around.. we can't just let it go :)

Politics are inextricably linked with argument, Raain. Sorry to say that's life. But I'm hoping there are enough people out there who are empathetic enough to pay heed to both sides of an argument. :-) I think that's where the real problem lies: not when people try to defend their values, but stop listening to the values of others and weighing them in their minds.
