Would the guy from monopoly have diplomatic immunity?...He can get people out of jail free...and gives people $200 for passing a little square that says "Go"

I would say that he has good connections, note that Mr. Monopoly is not the jailer... and there is no identity to the character giving out the starting cash. I think he's mearly the puppet master.

I think he's a little corrupt... With some false money in his hat or something...

I'd have to agree. The image brings me back to old illustrations (maybe from the New Yorker?) of dirty politicians.

Yeah from like the early 1900's

More like the 1920s, Alex. Atlantic City, on which the game was based, was in its prime back then - as were those wild illustrations of politicians. My greats and my then-youngish grandmother and her sisters used to go there twice a year (by overnight train T.O, to N.Y.C. and the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line from N.Y.C. to A.C.) and I've got tons of pics of them in their furred finery on the Boardwalk!
But hey, Alex. Ya've changed your avatar and ya look so serious in that new pic. What happened to the nice hairy tummy pic?

I thought is was a cute pic of myself. Ohh I thought Monopoly was based on the turn of the century! I never realized that!

Yes it is a cute pic, Alex. You're shirtless and there's a come-hither look in yer eyes! But ya'd look so much cuter with a nice smile on yer face!

Yeah...I had braces and all back in middle school/early high school but like I still hate smiling...lol

Well yeah I was in Walt Disney World. Only a kookoo person wouldn't have a smile on their face! :p

So I guess it's college that put that grim look on your face in the other pic. Must have been an exam day!

Umm...Pretty much was just the excitement of the last day of spring break before i went back and started classes up again....lol

No wonder ya looked grim, Alex! I would, too, coming back from break to college!
I managed to survive three years of the college experience but they were not my happiest years. I was two years younger than all the rest of the guys in my year cuz with an autumn birthday they had let me into elementary school a year early and then I got accelerated a year as well. The whole time I felt like I was on a different planet - although it did get me a good job after graduation.
I still like your smiley photo, though. The other one looks kinda cold...

You need to smile more. You might think that it doesn't do that much, but it does completely effect your appreance. You would look even cutier with a smile. I had the same thing after braces, but now I'm back to smiling.

jesus christ, would you two get a room? At any rate I really fail to understand the monopoly discussion. Just because he can do whatever he wants in monopolyville, doesn't really mean he'd be diplomatically immune. And last I check monopoly wasn't a country, but I come from American schools so I could be wrong.

And that is why we call it RANDOM STUFF, because people like to be RANDOM about things that have absolutely no meaning or are worth a thing.
Please, calm down.

Come On BFK.. Its quite obvious the banter not in this thread, but in others constantly between abg1988 and jaybear defintely validates Shaurus comment.
