It's been years since I read that story. Too bad the author never finished it. What was really weird is one of the women I work with was complaining that her husband has been losing all kinds of weight. He's been doing major traveling at his job for several months and missing out on all the home cooking. He's getting slim, trim and a hard body. She misses his big belly and soft pecs. She can't wait to have him home so she can fatten him up again. That is one woman that knows how to take care of her man! I told her if she feels the need to cook or bake something, I'd be more than happy to eat it. She didn't answer me. I guess she's saving it all for the husband. Some guys have all the luck!

Is there a way we can do this without pissing off the dude that started the story? Would we need his permission to finish it? I don't want to rain on the man's parade or cause any kind of a commotion. Unless we throw up a disclaimer that our story is based on and was inspired by the original. Can we get away with something to that effect? I haven't written anything since I was in a Tech school 10 yrs ago but I'm willing to have a go at it.

...but I'm willing to have a go at it.That's the spirit :)

Perhaps the story could continue on as 'Pete'??

Alright Guts, you're on. I'll start working on it this weekend. I'll open a new thread "Pete". Let's make this a group effort. Anyone can add on and see where it leads us.
